The Importance of Consistency

Published 2026-07-05

Process over noise

Short-term trading produces volatile weekly outcomes. GPT's approach assumes members follow the same Wednesday-to-Tuesday rhythm, hold the intended five positions, and report honestly. Reacting to one bad week by abandoning process — or doubling risk — often undermines long-term learning within the collective.

Consistency in execution

Consistent execution means participating at a stable Capsule scale, entering positions promptly after release when you choose to trade, and holding through the scheduled exit. This makes your results comparable to illustrative collective performance and your own prior weeks.

  • Same weekly schedule every Capsule you trade
  • Stable position sizing unless deliberately revised
  • Complete five-stock Capsules when participating

Consistency in reporting

Weekly and monthly reporting keeps performance fees accurate and maintains transparency. Even zero or negative weeks should be reported promptly. Gaps in reporting create admin burden and erode trust in a private network built on mutual accountability.

Not a guarantee of profits

Consistency improves discipline; it does not eliminate risk or ensure profitability. Some members will experience losing stretches despite careful process. GPT does not promise that disciplined participation produces any particular return.
