1. Introduction
Genuine Private Trading ("GPT", "we", "us") is a private, invitation-only collective for friends, acquaintances, and trusted individuals. These Terms govern your use of our website and membership. Effective June 2026.
2. Disclaimers
GPT is not registered with the Financial Markets Authority (FMA). We are not licensed to provide financial advice. Nothing on this website or in our communications constitutes financial, investment, taxation, or legal advice. All trading decisions are the sole responsibility of each member. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Investing involves significant risk of loss.
3. Membership
Membership is strictly limited to individuals known to existing members. We do not accept public applications or solicit the general public. GPT reserves the right to accept or decline any application without reason and to terminate membership for breach of these terms or collective policies.
4. Service fee
We charge a performance-based service fee of 5% of weekly profits (calculated monthly at 5.41%) plus 15% GST, totalling 6.22% of monthly profits. No fee is charged if there is no profit. A GST invoice will be issued. An annual membership fee may also apply for administration and access; details are provided to approved members.
5. Code of conduct
Members must maintain confidentiality, act respectfully, and not share collective materials outside the group without permission.
6. Termination
GPT may terminate membership at any time. Members may cease participation by notifying the collective administrators.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GPT and its members are not liable for any financial losses, trading losses, or decisions made by members.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
